Dr. Arunachalam Einstein

Dr. Arunachalam Einstein

Emergency Physician

Arunachalam Einstein was employed by Mitchell County Hospital and Providence Regional Medical Center as an emergency physician. He accomplished his internal medicine private practice at Family Health Care Corp. and holds a Washington state medical license. He served as an assistant professor of emergency medicine at Washington State University's Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. In October 1994, he received recognition and an award from Nassau County Medical Center for being the best house officer of the month. In June 1997, he was also honored with the Nassau County Medical Center's PRIMARY CARE RESIDENT OF THE YEAR Award. In addition, he oversaw the medical staff at Mitchell County Hospital as Chief.

Research on Roberts RR, Einstein A, et al. Improving Syndrome Surveillance Case Definitions and Outcomes by Using Existing Data and Applying Cost-Benefit Theory to Public Health Syndrome Surveillance Programs. Annals of Emergency Medicine, Sept 2005 (abstract). was conducted by Dr. Arunachalam Einstein. Dr. Arunachalam Einstein gave lectures and presentations on a variety of topics, including sepsis, venomous snake bites, childhood pancreatitis, acute abdomen in pediatric patients, and acute coronary syndrome. During the COVID Pandemic, he also led numerous webinars to instruct medical professionals and the general public.

Dr. Ashima Sharma

Dr. Ashima Sharma completed her postgraduation MD in Anesthesiology and Critical care and has 23 years of teaching experience after finishing MD. She received her education and work experience from prestigious medical schools in India, like KGMU Lucknow and MAMC Delhi.

She is a professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. She has a passion for research and is an honorary faculty for the Biomedical Engineering department of IIT Hyderabad as well. Her recent innovation is a low-cost AI-enabled ventilator - Jeevanlite. She has 58 publications, including original articles, invited review articles and case reports. She is a regular examiner and assessor for NMC and NBEMS in Emergency Medicine. She is actively involved in ICMR trials.

Dr. K. Selvarajan

Paediatric Laparoscopic Surgeon

A breakthrough was made in pediatric laparoscopy by Dr. K. Selvarajan. He was among the first in India to do a pediatric laparoscopy. He was the first surgeon in India to do numerous pediatric laparoscopic procedures on patients. He presented numerous papers at national and international conferences in Malaysia, the UK, the USA, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, and China.

He was invited as faculty to International Conferences—IPEG. He taught numerous pediatric surgeons and founded the first training facility for laparoscopic surgery in India's Coimbatore. He coordinated several CME programs, conferences, and workshops at the national level. He led numerous programs in schools and villages, provided career counseling to students, treated the impoverished free of charge, placed educated youth in jobs, carried out numerous social welfare projects, etc.

Dr. Lokesh Edara

He is Co founder of AEME. and a Co-founder of Global association of Indian Medical students ( GAIMS ). He is among the Indian Resuscitation Council Federation's co-founders. AAPI Foundation INDIA's cofounder as well. He works at the WMU School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA, as an assistant professor of medicine.

He chairs the global medical education AAPI group and a previous GMCANA president. He served as the Calhoun County Medical Society's president once. He was the TANA Foundation's previous chairman. He served as the Michigan Allergy Asthma Society's president once. He is the AAPI 2023–24 Chair of the Board of Trustees.
